Warple Terms of Use

Users of the “warple” website (https://warple.jp) (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) operated by Re-abroad (hereinafter referred to as the “Operator”) agree that the relationship between the Operator and the user is governed entirely by these Terms of Use, and the Operator operates the Platform on that basis. The Operator shall operate the Platform on this premise.

Article 1 (Purpose)

This Platform is intended for the purpose of providing information on study abroad (including working holiday, etc.; The same shall apply hereinafter), and to enable users to apply for admission to a school or contract with an accommodation after searching for and verifying the school or accommodation of their choice.

Article 2 (Membership Registration)

In order to use the services and functions of the Platform, users shall register as members of the Platform by appropriately and accurately entering the information specified by the Operator in the form prescribed by the Operator.

Article 3 (Cancellation of Membership Registration)

If the information entered by the user in accordance with the preceding article is found to be false or incomplete, the Operator may cancel the user's membership registration. In this case, the Operator shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages incurred by the user as a result of such cancellation.

Article 4 (Withdrawal from Membership)

Registered users may cancel their membership by submitting a notice of intent to cancel their membership using the cancellation form provided by the Operator.

Article 5 (Management of Member Registration Information)

Users shall be responsible for the appropriate use and management of their ID (hereinafter referred to as “ID”) and password (hereinafter referred to as “password”) for logging into the Platform.

Article 6 (Application for Study Abroad)

The User may apply for admission to a school or contract with an accommodation in accordance with the procedures on the Platform.

Article 7 (Rejection of Application)

The Operator reserves the right to refuse an application if one or more of the following reasons are recognized (1) When it is clear that the User does not meet the age, qualifications, skills, or other requirements to participate in the study abroad program. (2) When the user is a minor and does not have the consent of a parent or guardian (3) When the user's name, address, contact information, language ability, or other necessary information is not provided (4) When it is objectively obvious that there is no possibility of accepting the application, such as when the place of study you wish to apply for is over capacity. (5) When it is clear that there is no possibility of completing the study abroad procedures in advance considering the desired study abroad destination and study abroad period. (6) When we are unable to ensure the user's safety due to conditions or other circumstances in the destination country or related areas, or when we recognize that there are obstacles to the implementation of the study abroad program. (7) When we deem that the User is a nuisance to other Users or an obstacle to the smooth operation of our Operator's business (8) When we deem that the User's past medical history or current physical or mental health condition is inappropriate for participation in the study abroad program (9) When we deem the user to be inappropriate for any other reasons.

Article 8 (Payment of Fees)

The user shall pay the Operator the fees for the application by bank transfer to the bank account designated by the Operator or by credit card in accordance with the procedures on this Platform. The user shall be responsible for any payment processing. The user shall bear the cost of passport application, visa application, travel to and from the study abroad destination, travel expenses to and from the study abroad destination, and various insurance fees.

Article 9 (Cancellation Policy)

The User may cancel the enrollment within 8 days of submitting the application, in accordance with the procedures on the Platform. If a User wishes to cancel an enrollment or contract after 8 days have elapsed from the date of application, the User shall pay us a cancellation fee as set forth below for each of the following categories. (1) More than 61 days from the program commencement date: 30,000 yen (2) 60 to 31 days from the program commencement date: 30% of the total amount (3) 30 to 15 days from the program commencement date: 70% of the total amount (4) Within 14 days of the start of the school's program 100% of the total amount

Article 10 (Change of application)

The user may change the contents of the application even after the application has been submitted, by paying the operator 33,000 yen (tax included) and following the procedures on this Platform, except as provided in the following items: (1) Program commencement date is within 90 days (2) When the applicant wishes to postpone the start date of the school's program for more than 6 months. (3)When the User intends to change the duration of the school program by less than half. If the User cancels the enrollment or contract after changing the start date of the school program, the start date before the change will be considered as the start date of the school program for the purpose of applying the preceding Article.

Article 11 (Non-warranty)

We do not guarantee that the information on this Platform is always up-to-date and accurate.

Article 12 (Usage Environment)

Users shall prepare and maintain, at their own expense and responsibility, all devices, software, equipment, communication lines, and other telecommunication environment necessary to use the Platform.

Article 13 (Prohibited Matters)

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the Platform (1) Any act that infringes or may infringe the property rights, privacy rights, portrait rights, or other rights of the Operator, other users, or third parties (2) Acts that cause or may cause disadvantage or damage to the Operator, other Users, or third parties (3) Acts that discriminate against or defame the Operator, other Users, or third parties (4) Acts that may be contrary to public order or good morals (5) Sexual, religious, political, or similar activities (6) Sales, advertising, publicity, solicitation, or other commercial activities (7) Impersonating the Operator or a third party or intentionally distributing false information (8) Profit-sharing or other acts of cooperation with antisocial forces (9) Unauthorized collection, disclosure or provision of personal information, registration information, usage history information, etc. of others (10) Unauthorized use of IDs and passwords (11) Interfering with the Platform's server or network system (12) Use or provision of computer viruses or other harmful programs through or in connection with the Platform (13) Actions that violate laws and regulations, court judgments, decisions or orders, or legally binding administrative measures (14) Any other act that the Operator deems inappropriate. If the Operator determines that any of the acts listed in the preceding paragraphs have occurred, the Operator may terminate the membership registration of the user. In such a case, the Operator may claim compensation for damages from the user.

Article 14 (Temporary Suspension)

The Operator may temporarily suspend all or part of the operation of this Platform without prior notice to the user in the event of any of the following events (1) In the event of periodic or emergency maintenance of the system or related facilities of the Platform (2) In the event of interruption of the provision of communication lines, electricity, etc. used by the Operator (3) In the event of war, riot, disturbance, labor dispute, earthquake, eruption, flood, tsunami, fire, power outage, or other emergency or threat of such emergency, if requested or instructed to do so by law or instruction, or if deemed necessary by the Operator (4) In the event that the Operator deems it necessary to temporarily suspend the operation of the Platform for operational or technical reasons. The Operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to the total or partial suspension of the operation of the Platform caused by any of the items in the preceding paragraph or other reasons.

Article 15 (Disclaimer)

The Operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to any of the following reasons, in spite of reasonable safety measures taken (1) Damages caused by interruption, delay, or discontinuation of this Platform's system due to a communication line or computer failure. (2) Damages caused by tampering with this Platform. (3) Damages caused by unauthorized access to data or servers related to this Platform. (4) Loss of stored data, etc. (excluding deletion by the user on their own) The Operator's responsibility is limited to operating this Platform with reasonable efforts, and the Operator assumes no responsibility for, and makes no guarantee of, the accuracy, currency, usefulness, reliability, legality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of third party rights of any study abroad-related information presented to the user.

Article 16 (Protection of Personal Information)

The Operator will properly handle personal information obtained through the use of the Platform by Users in accordance with the Operator's Personal Information Protection Policy.

Article 17 (Intellectual Property Rights, etc.)

All intellectual property rights related to the programs and contents of this Platform are the property of the Operator or other parties that have granted licenses to the Operator, and users shall not infringe on these rights. When a user posts a review on this Platform, the intellectual property rights related to that review are transferred to our Operator at the time of posting. The Operator may, at its own discretion, determine the appropriateness of the content of a word of mouth and may delete or modify it.

Article 18 (Exclusion of Antisocial Forces)

Users must prove that they do not belong to or fall under the category of organized crime groups, organized crime groups, organized crime groups-related companies, general assemblymen, socially motivated crime groups, politically motivated crime groups, special intelligence crime groups, or other anti-social forces (hereinafter referred to as “anti-social forces”), and that they are not involved with anti-social forces in the past, present, or future, and that they have not committed any violent acts, or been involved with any anti-social forces. The Subscriber shall certify that he/she does not belong to or correspond to any violent group or other anti-social forces. If a user violates the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Operator may terminate the membership registration without prior notice. The Operator shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages incurred by the user as a result of this.

Article 19 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

This Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, and in the event that a lawsuit becomes necessary in connection with this Agreement, the Tokyo Summary Court or the Tokyo District Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance.

Article 20 (Modification and Renewal of Terms and Conditions)

The Operator may modify or update the Terms of Use at any time, and the modified or updated Terms of Use shall take effect and apply to the User when it is displayed on the Platform.
